The Russell Island Bowls Club is replacing the green with a synthetic surface. To make the end of the grass era, we held “Last Day on the Green” on 9th Februrary, 2025.

We had a record day with lots of good times, a great band and Greg’s awesome spit roast. 

Henry Pike, Federal Member for Bowman, announced that a Coalition Government would contribute $2.5 million to our building fund. We were also lucky to have Rebecca Young and Shane Rendalls showing their great support for the club.
