Queen Elizabeth Jubilee Celebration
The Club held a day of fun to celebrate 70 years of service by Queen Elizabeth II. Members and guests dressed up fancy and threw themselves into the fun activities which included a “polo” match of sorts and hoopla rolling which proved to be very challenging.
A big hit was the cupcake competition. Eight awesome members baked delicious and beautifully decorated cupcakes. The official prize was judged by an esteemed and unbiased panel – Mal, Bernie, and Fraser. They chose the best tasting and best decorated. The rest of the assembled folks voted for the best cupcake in the people’s choice award. It was loads of fun and everyone will not need a cupcake for a while.
The very popular Jimmy Tee provided the entertainment.
